Terms & Conditions - the basics
Having said that, Terms and Conditions (“T&C”) are a set of guidelines defined by Moody's Angels to govern the activities of the individuals seeking support from our organization. The T&C are meant to establish the legal boundaries governing the relationship between the individuals seeking support and Moody's Angels. T&C should be defined according to the specific needs and nature of each individual seeking support. For example, individuals seeking crisis intervention may have different needs from those seeking financial assistance. T&C provide Moody's Angels the ability to protect the organization and the individuals seeking support.
What to include in the T&C document
Generally speaking, T&C often addresses these types of issues: Who is eligible to receive support from Moody's Angels; the types of support and assistance Moody's Angels offers; a declaration that Moody's Angels may modify its offerings in the future to better serve the needs of individuals affected by tragedy; the rights and responsibilities of individuals seeking support; a reference to issues of confidentiality and privacy; and much, much more.
